Two weeks ago we have booked on the website airbnb.com an apartment

2 Bdr, 2 Bth Loft at Pine St

in New York, USA, for the period 28th of Dec 2013-02 of Jan 2014 (cost of the booking is 1913 US dollars) with the registered user Monica https://www.airbnb.ru/users/show/4915257

She asked for a short information about us and our coming then she wrote me that she confirms our request and we’ll receive all the details.

On my e-mail account (which is a confidential information and only Airbnb knows it upon my registration) I have receive two e-mails from Airbnb website from employee Marita with address Airbnb Trust and safety <[email protected]>, with booking confirmation details and bank details, saying that the payment should be made by a bank transfer not by credit card I’ve indicated on the website.

As agreed with the employee and the host, we made the payment on the 1st of October 2013, but since then I don’t receive any replies more.

As now we have searched information about Airbnb and have found out that there are a lot of frauds are connected with them (including your article http://www.scambook.com/report/view/181558/AirBNB-Leader-For-Welcoming-Fraud-Scams-Complaint-181558-for-$10,070.00 ), we kindly ask you to help us in this situation as obviousely they won't confirm our booking already

We want to apply to the Police in the UK and in the USA, informing about a fraud, we have asked Airbnb to provide us with information and all details they have of the registered user Monica as per link above, but we haven't received a reply (they have all proved information including passport details, phone number, e-mail address. We consider that maybe Airbnb is involved in this case as only they knew my e-mail and I’ve received information for payment from their @airbnb.com, all messages with Monica were through their website, and now they have deleted all these messages, but I have copies of notifications on my e-mail account).

I can provide you with all copies of messages, notifications, e-mails if you need.

We hope a lot you could help us.

Thank you very much.

With best regards,
