On Nov 7,2011, we where invited to a RCI update and dinner at Perkins in Appleton, Wi. The meeting was about the changes to RCI for its members. After meeting with B.J. Cooke and Andrew, they explained about a new program thru PRL (Point Rental Liquidators). That you could get paid for unused RCI points and they would buy $.08/ point, with payments on a quarterly base of the year. So we told B.J. we were interested in the program but he then told us we needed to buy a time share from Sunset Harbor Resort and use the Bank of America credit card for the purchase. So we talked it over than went with the program because of repayment in Jan. 2012 of $8500 for 100,000 RCI points according to B.J. Cooke. We attempted to contact Sunset Harbor in Jan.2012 to see about the money and they said it was delayed because of paper work. We later sent them 150,000 points for $12500.00 with payment in June - Aug. but did not receive that money either. In Nov. 2012, I called to check on the money and was told they closed up shop. Suset Harbor Resort sent us a letter on Dec.15,2012, saying they are now SHRII LuxuryCondo Assoc., President is Bill Mitchell, they stated they dropped PRL and B.J. Cookebut failed say anything about our money. They have asked for the maint. fee money but I will not pay they one cent more.
