I bought a new laptop and am new to the web,I had questions so I went to the Dell site. I clicked on a box saying it would fix any errors I had,I thought I was still on the Dell site but was redirected to Superior Tech Help. I spoke with a man with an Indian accent who took remote control of my computer and ran some test on it and informed me that I had many errors and infections. He said I had to have some software which I did purchase from him and said he would clean up my computer and remove all the malware and viruses that were on it for a one time price of $249.95 and that would cover me for the life of my computer. He said that I would never have to buy anything again if I had any kind of problem to call them and they would fix it. I paid Superior Tech Help by debit card and he said he was connecting me to his supervisor. Another man came on the phone and said he would now fix the problems. He added the software and claimed to repair my computer. When finished we disconnected the phone call. I was still having problems with my pc the next two and called them back. After going through the same routine as before the man had remote control access to my pc again and claimed he fixed the problems again. The computer was having all kind of errors and switching pages and was very slow so I took it to a local repair shop the next day and paid $109. to have all of the viruses and malware removed. This tech told me that he removed over 1200 bad files and infections from my computer and that Superior Tech Help was infecting my computer rather than fixing it. I called customer support and talked with an American man and told him I wanted a refund,he said ok without any question and said i'd have the money put back into my account within 5 to 7 days. I got a refund in 4 days. I was glad but it seemed odd that it was too easy as if he was use to people asking for refunds. I was still out for the software I bought but was just glad I got the $249.95 back.I then read of others that had been scammed by this same company. Stay clear of Superior Tech Help they are a dishonest company out to get your money.
