My wife, who is not very computer literate, booked online to stay at the Comfort Inn, Burlington, ON but did not realise she was on the Hotelsone.com website. Nor did she notice that the currency selected was US funds. Consequently, instead of the $82.41 charge for the hotel, she was billed $102.92. Trying to contact these people is in itself extremely time consuming as, instead of a REAL person, one has to answer numerous stupid questions - so much for customer service! Why is it that we continue to put up with having to press one for this or 2 for that instead of having a REA:L person answer the telephone? Nor did they offer any compensation once I did eventually get to speak to their agent. Avoid dealing with this company.
