We booked from the road a few hours before our destination; I thought I was calling the hotel and specifically asked and was told it WAS the Garden Inn reservation desk. They immediately asked for my credit card. I told them they should have it on file, as I'm an Honors member. They told me they needed it anyway. Said the room was $180, they would text me the confirmation since I was on the road. They never did. I called back, spoke to the SAME GUY who said I needed customer service (who never answered in 1/2 hour time). Got to the hotel and there was NO ROOM. Called and after they spoke to the hotel there, got a refund and cancellation # from a woman at HOTELSONE. THE SAME GUY I made the reservation with and failed to send me the confirmation then called to say he was charging us ANYWAY AND HUNG UP. We had to search in the blinding rain late at night in a strange town for another hotel, was charged, and my email not answered by HOTELSONE. At this point, our credit card company looks like they've reversed the charge, and we're hoping it sticks. TOTALLY RIPPED US OFF AND ACCEPTED NO RESPONSIBILITY.
