I received a call from a representative at Streamline Online, LLC convincing me to set up an account to advertise for amazon.com. I told him my son worked for Amazon, and I was assured that there was no conflict of interest in becoming an associate. I agreed to a one-time fee of $295.00. The contract states that all but $5.00 (adminstrative fee) is refundable within 30 days. 1 week later, Oct. 20, I reached the company, after many attempts, and spoke with a phone representative, telling him I wish to cancel the contract. After listening to him try to convince me that I should not quit the company, he said he would refer my call to a supervisor. It has been 3 hours and I have not heard from either this supervisor, or the one from Superior Marketing, the company that promises to do great things with television ads. The two companies are very slick and it is easy to agree to the program without having any time to think things through. Do not fall for this. Unfortunately, these companies do not give one the time to check them out before the agreement is made. Tell your friends to hang up before they make the same mistake I did.
