I bought on April 5th 2013, 4 tier one tickets for the Rolling Stones concert in Hyde Park on 6th of July and paid 3 216,40 Pounds for.
We finally got only 2 access packages delivered to our hotel in a Seatwave envelope the day before the event, this after many many phone calls; our 2 daughters who were supposed to have a surprise ended up crying because I trusted this company and we couldn't attend the concert!!
Now trying to get a refund, they have no responsibility and you will realize that all the stuff on their Webside, about Guarantees, Manifesto is just a bunch of lies. Stay away from Seatwave even if you're a fan and couldn't get tickets by normal ways.

  • Hi there,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Our priority here at Seatwave is to ensure that we get you to the chosen event. So we are very careful in following up any unusual issues that may arise, this would be one of them.

Whilst we fully appreciate the disappointment you have experienced, given that the tickets are provided from a third party, we would require the written confirmation from the venue that you were unable to gain entrance as proof in order to be able to proceed actions against the seller.

As Seatwave is a marketplace, we don’t own the tickets, therefore the proof from the venue is needed as we need to pass this information on to the seller. We hope you can understand that this measurement is in place to protect sellers that use our site who supply genuine tickets.

We take our Job very seriously and we share the passion for live events with our customers, this is why we have strict terms and conditions in place for sellers and we will ban any seller who is supplying invalid tickets from our site.

If you haven't already, we would like to urge you to provide us with the written proof so we can do the right thing and refund you the full purchase price immediately and take the appropriate actions against the seller of your tickets as we feel you have been let down.

Once again, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience and are sorry for the disappointment felt.

  • Seatwave has messed up our 5 day stay in London, and despite many many phone calls, e-mails and finally only after lodging in complaints against them, scambook but also at London Police www.actionfraud.police.uk,they've informed that they would refund the money. Anyhow in order to avoid a nightmare like the one we've experienced, I recommend to stay away from Seatwave.
