have phone for 4 plus years......................................................................someone steals your phone!

1. call police, report crime to them nothing they can do to recover your phone they refer you to see your phone provider and hope you have insurance.

here is when all trouble starts with booost.......

go to store where you purchased phone because you now have no phone or internet.
tell them my phone has been stolen.
here is reply....
you will have to call boost toll free #

my reply ....I don't have internet access....
I m sorry sir .....would you like to purchase a new phone so you could have internet access.
my reply.... i have insurance to replace phone...
what model did you have?
my reply zte warp
that model is 80.00 dollars asurion insurance charge you 60.00 for new phone.
my reply... i dont want a new phone.
the sorry sir we cant help you then.
question upon leaving..........
If someone has my phone and its not activated can they come in here or go on line and activate it...?
there reply.... we don't buy or activate stolen phones...
next day....
i go there .....Boost mobile store..
My phone is has been activated....i never made a payment to activate it.
there reply you have your pin#?
my reply yes its 4897.and your phone #?
They type in computer and tell you that pin # doesn't match.
they then tell you.. If someone has your phone and they can request the pin to go to your text message on your phone so they can now activate it and they must have changed the pin.
therefore there is nothing they can do.
they then give you the toll free # again and tell you that the phone is not insurable because you need the pin for your account and its been changed and you don't know it.
and i can have my phone service suspended but not without a pin.
Next thing to happen phone# after i call thief. He changed # but before doing that he tried to get my phone plan changed to automatic monthly. since Boost keeps record of last 4 #'S of credit card the thief of my phone clicked go to monthly payment. it was denied now i get letter saying i am responsible for monthly payment even if funds not there and would be charged 25 dollars for denied funds..

cant put a price on the crap u deal with.

i dont own Phone # or even the phone was told it belongs to Boost after it was stolen.

still boost gets 55 a month from stolen phone.
I have My ESN # to phone they WOnt disable
