On July 27 2011 our 1996 Plymouth Grand Voayager mini van stopped working as my wife was driving. I had it towed to our local Chrysler dealer the next day. They diagnosed it as a "defective PCM, or Power Control Module, the vehicles main computer. The cost they said would be $581.00. Money is so tight right now I ask them if I could use a aftermarket PCM, they agreed. I have had very good luck with aftermarket parts and have ordered many such parts online many times. So I google searched for "replacement PCM's for our vehicle. I found several, And Auto Computer Exchange offered a replacement unit for $200.00 under the dealer cost. I called them several times and really hesitated, but a saving of $200.00 really would help us as money is VERY tight. As I mentioned, I have previously ordered online from Amazon, Ebay etc., etc. and have never been burned. The web site looked legitimate, and the sales girl, Sally, or "Mustang Sally" as she called herself seemed quite reassuring. So I trusted them and ordered the $200.00 plus $25.00 shipping PCM unit ($224.00 total). WHAT A MISTAKE! This whole siuation has made me physically ill. After waiting a week, the PCM arrived, thinking all was ok I took it to our dealer, Van Campen Dodge/Chrysler in Williamsport,PA., waited a day, and they called and told me that e Auto Computer Exchange PCM was defective and throwing codes!! I called Auoto Computer exchange from work and and went through hell trying to get someone to help me! NO ONE wanted to deal with it! I was transferred, hung up on, transferred again, spoken rudely to and hung up on a second time! I called again and ask for Sally (my original salesperson, it took effort but I finally got her. Although extremely worried she was fairly nice and reassuring and agreed to get me to the "warranty dept."where they will make arrangements to send another. I was transferred to "Andy" who was not very friendly and kept. putting me on hold. It was hard understanding him and he had a rude voicetone, He also kept talking to a co worker about what he paid at Mcdonalds, something about chicken nuggets for $2.39 or something. I loudly said ;"are you talking to me?", he didn't anwer, I had to keep asking him if he was still on the line. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. after they get your money, they really want nothing to do with you. I then had to spend another $15.00 to ship back the original unit, in the mean time, a "second unit arrived to my amazement. By the way, even though they arrive with "official" looking stickers on them, these units are dirty and old looking, the first was sent with a completely broken bolt bracket. So off I went back to the dealer with the second replacement PCM. And just as I had assumed...NO GOOD, DEFECTIVE, throwing codes!! I was really sick. I called Auto echange, go the usual horrible rude service, finally got "Andy" back in the warranty dept.. I told him I now have OVER $176.00 in dealer fees for the two times they have had to keep installing these BAD defective units they send. I told him I just want a REFUND because they're parts are defective! He basically became angry and "scolded" me and said I need to READ the policy that says NO-Refunds, credit ONLY. I said credit? For what? More defective parts? He said sorry, thats the policy. I then called the dealer and told them to go ahead and repair it like they were orinally going to do..they did and it work PERFECTLY with the dealer part. I am so sick and instead of saving $200.00, I am out the $224 for their defective part, and the almost $200 the dealer had to charge me to keep re installing the bad parts! Let alone being without our needed vehicle for almst a month as it sat at the shop! And the trips and gas expense back and forth to the shop and UPS! Then a third PCM arrived"out of the blue"from Auto Comp Exchange!!I couldn't believe it!Shipped it back today! What a nightmare! Now I worry that they have my creditcard information.A googlesearch revealed MANY complaints exactly like mine against this company! I am seeking a FULL REFUND of $220.00, which is the cost of the original purchase price.

This company is fraudulant and relies on the decieved consumer just giving up in frustration.
I feel very taken advantage of. I also feel very stupid and foolish for not checking this company out first (which I have never had to do in 13 years of ordering online)
Their supposed policy of NO Refund/credit only is NOT legitimate due to they knowingly ship defective products and them wear down the customer trying to resolve the issue.
The links attached show that HUNDREDS have been taken advantage of by this company.
I am contacting my credit card company FRAUD unit.
