Replied to an add on craigslist. Seller contacted me from [email protected] about making the purchase of the treadclimber TC5000. THey stated they were relocating to Italy and the treadclimber was listed in Spring, TX so they were going through Ebay buyers protection program to handle the transaction and delivery. They sent all of the information via email, instructions, case number, etc. Looked totally legitimate. I wired the money to the holding agent and waited for my product to arrive. I had 10 days to review the item and if i was satisfied release the payment to the seller. Well after 2 weeks i hadn't recieved it so i called ebay to open a case. They indicated they aren't affiliated with Craigslist and that it was a scam. They won't cover anything not bought on Ebay through the website. I should've been more causious but everything looked above board and i've never had any issues purchasing off ebay or craigs list the couple of times i've went that route.
