I sell items on craigslist using paypal. Two buyers recently complained about their purchases and their money was promptly refunded, no questions asked. I was not even given the option to defend myself. So I got screwed out of $500. Anyways, paypal then suddenly decides to 'limit' my account due to 'suspicious activity' which means it's frozen and I can't receive or send money. I can't even close this account. Even worse, there was a positive balance of $136.35 in this account the time it was frozen. Paypal is now requesting that I provide purchase invoices for the items that were sold. I cannot provide this because one item was a gift and the other item sold, I no longer have the receipt. So even though the two customers received their money back, I still got screwed.
