I ordered a pair of boots from this website. I received a confirmation in Chinese symbols. I thought that was weird and found all of these warnings about them being a scam. I have submitted a dispute with PayPal and my credit card company. I guess it was too good to be true.

  • Hi,

    Just to let you know. I raised a dispute with paypal re the same issue and 2 days later I received an email with a tracking number for a courier company and boots have been dispatched. I have a friend who used this company and did recieve good quality goods in the end so fingers crossed.

  • I'm beginning to thing that Jaye81 is part of the scam, they have commented on the board alot and have discredited themselves by saying they put in a dispute with ebay on the 4th of Dec, but then come back in on the 5th and say that they received boots withing two days of placing the dispute on the 4th...hmmmm, makes me wonder.

    Not at all. I ordered the boots on 21.11.2011 and did not hear anything so by the 4th Dec I was very worried and disputed with paypal. The next day I received a tracking number and conformation of the boots being sent. Today I received the boots and I updated to everyone on the site to let them know not to panic as they may also receive them. The site was recommended to me by a friend who also received good quality boots. The boots came from China and I assume that is why they do not reply to emails. I am certainly not in on the scam and had to prove my purchase to join scambook lol!!

  • It turns out the boots were sent from China on 23rd Novemeber so even though I got no response to my emails they had been sent. I see the site is closed now perhaps due to complaints.

  • They appear to be. I have two other pairs which i purchased in Oz so I know they are genuine and I can't tell the difference however they were made in china so they could be very good replicas? I can't tell. My Ugg's from Oz have made in China on the label too. They came with an authentic UGG box and proof of purchase card.
