I subscribed briefly to Angieslist several years ago since it sounded like a great idea. However, they didn't cover the type of reviews for job categories I wanted to post on.

Then they started a buying and selling section on their website, supposedly. I tried to put something up on their selling site, but it was never posted. The site physically didn't function, however, although they advertised about it and made great claims for it. It was just non-functional. I posted something but it never appeared on their list of items for sale.

Outrageous! A site that claims to log reviews of contractors, home service providers, etc. and it doesn't run a legitimate operation, themselves? I tried to contact them, and they wouldn't respond, no way to talk to a person. Where's Angie? On vacation in the Bahamas?

NOW, after not using them for years, a charge for $9.99 appeared on my bank statement out of the blue! For what? I cancelled my former membership years ago./

They've haven't owned up to their claims in the past and now they are charging me for services I didn't request, using my bank account information.. What a scam operation! Avoid Angieslist.com--it's a black hole!
