It all started when my Toshiba laptop begun to make a blue screen and crash. I could not find a recovery disc and decided to google Toshiba customer service number which led me to these people. For some reason I ended up paying for the $99.99 dollar fee that the woman assured me I would have my computer running by the conversations end. Well I finally succumb to giving her my information and talk with an IT guy. He ran me through the regular steps that any free service would and told me that I would have to ship my laptop off for it to be fixed. Frustrated with this man I told him we should try something different because I had already done everything hes told me to do before even calling these people. He laughed at me and told me "Im like the doctor and you're like the patient whose trying to tell me whats best for you." so of course I tell him that I want my money back, he then immediately puts me on hold and gets me to another IT guy who ended up having a problem with the previous gentleman. He ran me through a random step that I, yet again, told him I already had done. He then insists I ship it off to them to "fix" which would take about 3 weeks. Anyway I tell him I want to talk to billing and get my money back. Because all they were going to do was use a recovery disc on it and send it back. Worth $100.00? I think not. But by the time he was done giving me his little sch-peel he had informed me that the billing department was now closed. So ended up calling in the morning and spent an hour with this lady who ended up cutting 40 dollars off and giving me a year warranty. I told her I didnt want a year warranty so she ended up taking another 10 off of it and I ended up settling with that. I counted my losses and Im only out 49.99. This place is a SCAM and do not ever let them tell you otherwise. You can find free help online at forums. You dont need these people.
