As a small business person I was victim of this ORGANIZED scam. They work as a gang of professional by ' hiding' behind legally accepted verbiage to mislead, confuse and victimize. They 'present themselves' as GOVERNMENT agents; they do NOT OFFER to mention the 'cost of the program'; they give 'mulfunctioning phone numbers..; they remove money from your credit card 'right away' I was lucky to chech my 'online' statemtn who happened to be the next day;...usually for money who have 'mailing' statements they can see the 'charges' much after the '''legal expiry date for cancellation ( 10 days) of an online contract. They cammouflage their 'company name ' under different NAMES to confuse and disorient: Business Grants, THE CENTRE, Business Funding Information each having a DIFFERENT ADDRESS and phone number. I stopped the payment with my bank credit card, pending investigation...as theGOODS were NOT DELIVERED and the nature of the 'assistance' was non existent or ridiculously idiotic. They will send you packages through Ebook emails of thousand of pages of ' websites' and ' government programs' which NOT ONLY ARE USELESS but an INSULT to anyone who has brain enough to start a business. In very small print they try to 'cover thei assess' by disclaiming that if the 'programe or grants' is missing, they ARE NOT TO BE RESPONSIBLE> These conniving low-lives that live off the 'misery' of poor people, small business people who go to them for assistance, MUST REALLY BELIVE that by printing that ' shit' might save them from a LAWSUIT for fraud. Anyhow I never gave up. I started using their 1888 231 0075 number intermittently to get ' information' and explanation'. By the way, the credit card company, GAVE ME a different number and different address ( an indication that these people in ORDER TO GET ACCEPTED BY CREDIT CARDS COMPANY...have different NAMES...since the SHAM OF THEIR....Canadian Grants Business name has LOST credentials with the banks. Anyhow, I kept on calling their number...and TAPING THEM....the lies , confusion, misunderstanding, incompetence, vulgarity, ..showed me that they were were working on a scam. I reported them to the Canadian Anti fraud (website), to my Credit Card, to my local POLICE. In the meantime KEPT HAMMERING THEM with phone calls...keeping them on the lines for hourse...searching for explanation...the refund of my money, and asking for exact evidence of what I WAS TOLD by their 'lying consultants" I was hoping to have them TAKE ME TO COURT FOR HARRASSMENT..so that I could present my case in the open ( they threathened me with legal action) I encouraged them...and promised them that i would ask for all THEIR PAST TRANSACTIONS , their records, and subpoena everyone I spoke to..and much, much more..including my deteriorating MENTAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL state as a result of their 'abuse' of my honesty and person. IT SEEMS it worked...for as of today, starting my daily barrage of 'phone calls' to all number and faxes to SEARCH FOR EXPLANATION, ETC. the accountant PROMISED ME TO REFUND MY MONEY $ 699. within 15 days. I have RECORDED THAT CONVERSATION, TOO. In the meantime, I have approached other 'websites' pretending to be 'government grants' specialists..and there are MANY on the internet. But YOU KNOW THEY ARE ALL A SCAMMERS when you ask them point blank: IS THERE A COST ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SERVICE...and they no other choice but to say: Well, but we....yes a cost"...but even when they say that DON'T BE MISLED...because they will add BUT ONLY IF YOU QUALIFY'...which in their word is 'you qulify the moment you give us your Credit Card No.' I fell sorry for small business people who go to these sites, simply because they try to SURVIVE and look for a last hope of not going 'underground' only to find these sharks to finish them off...THEY DON'T DARE TO ATTACH THE BIG FISH..because like COWARDS they know the big companies have lawyers that would EAT THEM ALILVE and expose their subhuman sense of 'human assistance".
