On a holiday I get this call that the hard drives on 2 of my new computers were going to crash in minutes. They could be saved by a $419 life time software protection. Not sure how they got my info or past security, but I caved. Later the supposed owner calls with another line and assurances that they were Microsoft subcontractor(heavy Indian accents -all. Today I get a call from David Smith saying I had a new charge posted 1/1/13 for $149 that they wanted to refund as the owner had died. Wanted volumes or new personal data - could not just refund to AMEX card billed. Don't get caught with this scam.
