Be careful!!!
This ‘offer’ is not a free trial at all.
After paying a reasonable £4.95 for postage, i received an email confirming my order with a link to the T&C’s which I read. As soon as I read that failure to cancel within 14 days of placing the order ()bearing in mnd this was a 30 day trial) I would be charged $99+ for the next lot of products and this would continue each month unless I called Customer Services in the USA to cancel.
If I did call USA and cancelled, this call would obviosuly be chargeable from the UK and not ‘toll free’ as stated.
However, the 4th paragraph in the T&C’s states I can contact Customer Services at any time to cancel my membership by email or phone. My reply from when i tried this by email was that ‘for security reasons(???) they cannot proces the cancellation by email’. What a load of rubbish.
I pointed out that i did not have to call the USA to place the order therefore I refused to call the USA to cancel the same.
They have since ignored my emails and request to cancel.
As a precausion, i have also cancelled my bank card so no further payments can be taken.
