The business (Snowdrift Farm) was going out of business and selling off their inventory. I purchased skincare product ingredients and supplies from them. I knew that it would take some months to receive my order given the circumstances under which the company had to close their doors. Naturally, I understood that this meant there would a longer delay. I was willing to wait. However, I never received any update about my order. At one point the company placed a note on their website stating that some, if not most, orders could not be sent due to a problem with funds being placed on hold by Bank of America. I never did receive any direct communication from the seller regarding my order and/or a refund.

Just before their website went down (presumably because they stopped paying for it), the site had a huge note stating that they were still unable to access their funds due to some complication with Bank of America. I did as they indicated (on the website) and contacted Bank of America but had to leave a message and never heard back, of course. Their website was: http://www.snowdriftfarm.com/ It has been discontinued at this point but some pages can still be found. Naturally, this does not include the ones with the big notices about their financial situation (as far as I can tell).

I knew this company was dealing with some difficult circumstances so I was willing to wait for my products. Unfortunately, that meant that by the time I noticed how bad things had really become, it was too late to file a successful PayPal claim (although they did contact "Rancho de Nieve llc" which is Snowdrift Farms in spanish and apparently their official business name?). The original order was placed Dec. 6, 2011 and the PayPal claim was submitted Feb 22, 2012.

Please do not confuse this company (from Tucson, AZ) which has dropped off the face of the Earth with a new company (an actual farm in Idaho) with the exact same name and a slightly different website (.org).

Thanks for listening!
