well I had to sell my truck to get some money together to pay some debts that were due so I called the Car Store in Laurel Deleware. When I had them on the phone I told them what it was and also was honest and let them know it needed a left front abs brake sensor.They buyer at the car store told me they would give me $4000.00 for my pick up.It is a 1999 Chevy Silerado Z71 with 4 wheel drive and 5.3cu.inch motor .It has high mileage at alomost 122000 and it has some dents and and inside of the bed has dents and needs paint. They told me book value on my truck for them to resale on their lot is at most $5800.00 so with that I took it to them and when I got there the buyer for the car store look it over and still said they would give me $4,000.00 for it.After a bit I believe the buyer for the dealers name is Scott wasd talking to the used car Mananger and as they were talking one of their Mechanics came out and was talking to me and when I told him it needed that brake sensor in the left front wheel he said than the Hub or wheel bearing needs to be replaced also and I thought what is he talking about saying it needs things and never look at it.Well after a little bit they took it back in their garage without asking me if he could take it back there first and after about 10 minutes he came back out front with it and said just what the mechanic told me and their offer went to $3800.00. In 10 min. there mechanic or probably more a lot employee said it needed the hub bearing thats why the abs light was on and that hub bearing I don,t believe has anything to do with the brake sensor & light.He said it also needed an oxy sensor so needing that money to pay om my debts I had no choice but to take the $3800.00 because our income tax check still was not in our bank acct.Afre a few days our income tax check was deposited in our acct. so I called the Car store because I wanted to get my truck back I sold them and he said at most they would want for it is the $5800.00 that the book value says due to the work they said it needed.Well I did get it back and they took me to trhe hill on getting it back.By the time the contract was done I paid $8596.00 for it and hesc ed big time.He took my info and had me financed in less than 4 minutes and that to me is I was Scamed with that finacnce co.he put me thru at a high rate of interest sothe truc cost me altogether as I said $12,297.50 for a truck that at most is worth in fair condition $4,284.00 or in good condition $,4,859.00 and thats book value from the Kelly Blue book.If the truck was in very good condition it is wrth $5184.00 and in Excellent conditin it be worth $5209.00 and its fair from those 2 condition.They also said the did work on it as in replce the hub bearing and change the oil & filter and topped off the fluid levels and I have an email from the car store I requested to let me know what work was done on it so I have proof they did that work.Well they did,nt do the Oil and filter Change as they said cause the oile filter that is on my truck it dirty and greacy and the oil on the dip stick is blacl as coal so I doubt the did any work on it.I believe they just cleand it up and waxed it maybe and put it on their lot. I did file a complaint with the Better Bussiness Bureau and they forwared the complaint to the car store and they responded to my complaint and said they did various repairs to it and changed the oil & filter so the BBB was going to drop my complaint unless I had proof what they said was not true so my wife faxed the email I got from them stating what they said they did and I also and what they said the did to me which I have proof what they supposenly did and what they told the Better Bussines Burean in writing ong my complaint was so different so that tells me yous they are very dishonest people a that Car store.I believe at most since I got it back I may have put 400 miles on it at most because I don,t go anywhere much and I have,nt changed the oil and filter as of this time and that little milage if they change the oil & filter definitly would not be black it would sill be clean and clear.The last time thbe oil was honestly change in this truck was late 2010 due to before it was change ast time it was,nt driven 6000 miles.I had this truck about 7 years and always kept up on it and I know its in good condition.The Car Store needs to befined for lieing to me and I would bet to alot of other peop[le who went to them and maybe even close the Car Store down in Laurel Deleware and maybe they need to be investagated at the Salisbury Md.Lot also to make sure they are on the up & up on their dealing also.I Want to let you know I should have never signed the agreement on this deal but Over the years I got hurt seiously a couple of times and when I read things most of the time I don,t get the concept on what I read do to alot of head injuries I recieved over the years and the last one was in 2008.I believe I can get verifacation to those injuries also from the nero Drs I had. All I am asking is for yous and the Better bussiness Bureau to help me get this to where it should be and all I am asking is for yous to make them redo a sales contract for at most $4500.00 and they need to be responsible for the illegal bussiness practices they have done to me and as I said I am sure many other people.The Car Store needs to be held liable for the loan they put me in by payin it off and they need to hold the financeing in house at the dealership at no interest and maybe even call what I went though menatlly after a few days realizing the took advantage of me and I am sure others and just direct the Car Store to turn the title over to me and call it even. They need to be held responsible for there to in my words unjustifiable bussiness practices.
