I received a letter from Starcurm Research and Marketing Inc. including a check in the amount of $3,797.00, which had a business name of South County Associates, Inc. I supposedly won a total of $28,500.00 for a 2011 Consumer's Point of Sale Sweepstakes held on July 27th 2011 in Dallas, TX, of which the $3,797.00 was a portion of the winnings. All I had to do was pay $2,987.32 for insurance and processing charges. The contact person is supposed to be a Sandra James at 1-647-861-5838. The accompanying letter is signed by Anita Matthews, "Vice President Global Operations". Everything that I have found regarding these names & companies is warning of a scam. Beware of these false claims!
