I received a call telling me my computer was in the realm of crashing that i must have my computer cleaned right away by them, naturally i listened because i didn't want computer crashing. At that time they took over my computer and started cleaning it. After a short while they advised me that i would have to pay $139.90; I immediately replied no thank and ended the call. A short time i later received another call, this time from a women who informed me she was a head supervisor to the gentleman i had previously talked to. She informed me of the urgency of my problem and that i must have it taken care of now. (they had also informed me that they were a division of Microsoft). At that time i relented and i let her take over my computer again this went on for i would say a couple hours, they had to keep calling me back because they hadn't done something proper, i guess. During this time now that it was on the verge of being completed they asked and received my debit card number, during this time they informed me that i would have to pay $15.95 for monthly coverage to continue to keep my computer clean. What could i say, what could i do they were completed cleaning my computer. I was talking to a friend shortly after that about this situation and he informed me quite enthusiastically that i had just been scammed. There was nothing i could do then because this all happened after working hours. Checking my banking statement at that time i noticed the total of my bank balance had already decrease by $139.90. and i couldn't even call the bank until the morning. Now i'm going to have to cancel my debit card and get a knew one to eliminate them getting any more money. AT the same time i have all my monthly bills automatically taken out of my account each month so i going to advise them of the change so i don't get jumped on by my creditors. When will i ever learn?
