I was contacted by phone & asked to try a insurance. I agreed, but did not sign the forms. I was suppose to get a free gift card. I called the company and attempted to tell them that I didn't want insurance. The representative hung up on me. The company has called me via cell phone at least 19 times insisting that I owe them money. I wrote the company explaining that I do not owe them anything.I contacted the insurance company itself and I paid one month premium and I was supposed to be remove from Fingerhut's information system. Throughout the month of Dec- January, I have been harrassed by Fingerhut. One week, I owed 5.99, the next week I owed 12.99, the next week I owed 50.00 dollars. Currently, the company is stating that I am 45 days behind. My credit has been damaged. I pay my bills and I do not have bad credit. I feel as if Fingerhut is using mafia tactics. Fingerhut wrote me a letter stating that I would not be contacted by them anymore; however, I'm still being harrassed and my credit has been damaged. Can you help?
