I used Booking.com to reserve 2 nights at the Marriott Cincinnati Downtown River Center. The cancellation policy stated that if the reservation is cancelled 1 day before arrival then there would be no charge. Yet when I called to cancel one day before arrival I was told that I would be charged for the first night. I wouldn't have been allowed to get into the room until 4pm on July 23 and I cancelled at 3pm on July 22!
