A salesman sold us yellow page advertising for the local pages. After he left we read the contract and discovered it was not the local phone company book. We called the phone# on the man's card several times but did not receive a reply. We called the company direct and requested to cancel the ad--the representative said she would take care of it and we did not hear back again. 6 month later we got a bill. I called the company to inform them the ad had been cancelled. They said we did not cancel in writing within 3 days so we have to pay the bill. They lied to us in our initial contact (said it was taken care of) and scammed us for the ad. Please do not fall for their dishonest business practices.
