Services were offered but never completed - I would like to share with your our experience and disappointment with the Veil Corporation package presented at the Buying Summit in November 2013. When we were at the conference we were sold a great package that would take care of protecting our assets. We were told we really needed someone that specializes in asset especially real estate protection. We bought in for $6,900 hook, line and sinker. We were told multiple times to consult with our attorney after signing up with Veil Corporation.

Boy do we feel taken. As I am sure you are aware, it takes time for an attorney to review documents. We never received the initial questionnaire on November 18 and returned in on November 20. On December 4 we were contacted to setup an appointment to review the documentation but were not scheduled until January. In the mean time, we discussed with our attorney, accountant and financial planner. All three recommended against the program. When we were contacted in January for our 30 minute consultation, we told Veil we were not interested and requested a refund.

Today, we followed up again with Veil and have been told that since we did not notify them within 30 days of signing the agreement they could not offer us a refund. The program that Veil is proposing for us will cost us more income than we expect to make. The cost of an LLC for a California resident is $895 per year. Setting up three LLCs for one property, one tax lien and one piece of land will cost us close to $2,700 per year. Yes, our accountant, attorney and financial planner all reviewed the documents and have shared this with us.

I am not sure that there is anything you can do to help us secure at least a portion of our money back for a package we bought as part of the buying summit. This has really put a bad taste in our mouth about the Buying Summit program and its associates.
