At the beginning of the year, when I was preparing to file my taxes, I signed up with Regions Bank to be able to download my accounts into Quickbooks. They NEVER made the service available so I was never able to use the service. Out of all my accounts with them, they charged a small savings account with no activity except automated deposits. They charged this account $19.95 per month for 5 months before I noticed the fee! The fee went unnoticed because I NEVER use the account. When I called the first time, they blamed it on Quickbooks by stating that it was a Quickbooks fee. I then called with Quickbooks on the line, and they stated that IT WAS their fee and they WOULD NOT refund me the amounts charged. The most they could do is stop it from future charges and refund me only one of the 5 months charged. Not only have they increased their montly account fees to outrageous amounts, but they also scam customers in ways it would be difficult for the customer to notice!
