My wife and I received a postcard inviting us to
a 90 minute promotion which promised 2 free airline vouchers and a 2 night 3 day hotel voucher for listening to the promotion. The promotion was for a travel membership service offering worldwide travel often with air fares included at prices more like week end getaways. At the end of the presentation you were then pushed into buying a $8,999 package that then dropped to $7,999, and finally a scaled down package at $3,999. You were asked to show that you had a credit card with you before entering, and then pushing you to swipe it for the purchase. We did not purchase and were given the vouchers and after doing research on the net have found numerous complaints of people sending activation fees to receive the vouchers and receiving nothing, or worthless vouchers. We also noticed that most of the people in the presentation appeared to be older at or near retirement age a demographic that usually travels a lot. I have found numerous complaints on the web, but never a satisfied member of the travel club using the service after paying the high fee. The invitation never uses the Orbital Promotion name so be ware of something for nothing offers.
