Thumbtack has been taking money without my consent over 5 times since I opened up and account with them in Oct. 2013. I tracked it by having my bank monitor my account and notified me when Thumbtack went in to double and triple charged me while I was not supposed to be noticing. I know for a fact that this is happening because I tried this with 3 different CC's and the same overcharging happened but for even more funds. I reached out to Melany from support via phone, and explained. She said "jacqueline will get right back to me before the day was over and I never heard from anyone. What they do is, if they get a complaint from certain caller I.D. numbers, they will not pick up. I called from a blocked number and had an unblocked number calling at the same time, guess which call got answered? This company seems to be running a scam. I am really not happy with this and to think I was better off paying Wedding Wire for their months services, at least they don't take monies from you without you knowing.
