I applied for a loan through Lending Tree on 11-18-13 and they couldn't find a match so it sent me to another link for additional searches then the madness began, on 11-19-13 I got hundreds of calls from Calif,Sea,NY,Fl,TX,and several more some would leave a message some would not. (1st Red flag) When I return 1 of the calls that left a message and asked for Ronnie another man kinda acted strange said oh oh hold on so another man got on and said he was Ronnie then said I will call you right back keep your line open.A minute later he called back saying ok this is Ronnie then went on to informed me I was approved for 5000.00 he repeated my personal info back to me which he would of had to got from a link connect to Lending tree but stated because of my credit score that I needed to apply for a Green dot money card and pay 140.00 (same as my payments would be) so they could report to all 3 credit reporting companies.Then after 2 hours I could access my money to do as I like. (RED FLAG) I told him if they where legitimate they wouldn't need me to pay them to report on my credit. We went back a forth I called him a scam and he said let me get my superior and then said he was unavailable at the moment he will have to call me back.I told him I wasn't interested and didn't need money that bad. hung up filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
