I sent away for a FREE 14 day trial of Equinox & RVTL cream.Although there was a link to Terms and Conditions this did not work. Nowhere did it give the price of the product but I was not surprised as this was a FREE Trial. On 31 Oct & 1 Nov £89 & £95 were taken out of my bank account. The bank informed me this was from Sheridan Labs. I phoned the customer services department and spoke to 2 different people. I was offered a 50% refund and this was confirmed in 2 emails. I didn't consider this enough and phoned again. This time I was told that I had never been offered this even though I had the emails. I was told I would have to return the products and they would see what they could do. I did this and was told I would receive £50 and this was all and nothing else. I have contacted CAB and Trading Standards and been told they may have broken 2 laws Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading and Distance Selling Regulations.I have received the £50 but have written to say that I don't think this is fair recompense. I have just received another email saying that is all they are willing to do as I signed up to their Terms and Conditions. I am willing to take this through the courts as I don't think a company should be allowed to mislead people into thinking they are getting a free trial and then take any sum it likes from customers' accounts just because it says so in Terms and Conditions which aren't even available when you click on a link.
