Same story as everyone else. My mom tried to order these for my dad. The first page took your credit card info, and if you clicked to try to change it, it submitted the order and let her know that she had ordered $148 worth of stuff, even though she wanted only one. She never received a confirmation of any sort. When I called the next day, they gave me the runaround about how it was our fault that we ordered double. Of course, my response was, even if that were true, how does double $29.95 equal $148? They said they would "try" to cancel it, and then after being transferred to a bogus supervisor, they said they would cancel it. They said they were going to send a confirmation email (in 48 hours, when anyone else has a confirmation email to you by the end of the phone call) but that it was my responsibility to follow up. Today, the items were delivered. She can return them, but needs to pay shipping and handling charges, of $50. Total scam.......they are excellent at targeting elderly people who are desperate to get better. Hearing aids cost at least a couple thousand and still don't work well, so when an elderly person on a fixed income hears that something might help a little, and cost a fraction of that, of course they are willing to try it. Pretty brilliant scam, actually. Have already been assured by the credit card company that it will not be paid.....now we are just wondering what will happen, since they have so much info.
