I met this person online on a dating site Plentyoffish.com in 2009... We lived far away from each other and only met once at that time. He found me online recently in March, 2013 and wanted to reconnect, which i told him that he is a player and there will be no chance... He tried to proof otherwise, showing his interest.
We finally planned a meeting for the date on the 31 of March 2013, but he sent me a text that he forgot his wallet at work... we spoke on the phone and I agreed to land him some money for a few days and he will return it to me once he get his wallet... He borrowed from me around $140 that Sunday. He texted me next day asking for another $100, because the wallet was not at his work place as he thought...
That same night he called me and said that somebody found his wallet and he got it back and he will put the money to my account next morning...
He flirted with me on the phone and kept it light and pretending to be very busy each day and didn't have time for the bank... We planned another meeting on Friday April, 5th, 2013 and he was going to bring me cash... Only he disappeared that day and only sent me a text late at night that he is in Paso Robles and he will explain it later...
I was upset and told him that I only care about my money at this point to be returned...
He sent me a text next morning saying that his mother passed away last night...
Making me feel absolutely a horrible person...
We talked in a next day and I saw him, but couldn't ask for my money that moment...
He promised to get it to the bank by Wednesday, the 10th of April...
We exchanged some texts and i was loosing my patience and warned him to go to the police...
He sent me a text threatening me to call police on me if I will not stop asking for my money... and filing a case for herrassing .
I called him a jerk.
A week ago, he texted me back again saying that he really likes me and he is not a thief or jerk and he wants to return my money and see me... Only this time he is asking to postponement of return of my money, because he needs to pay to the mechanic for repairing the car... for a week till the 26th of April, 2013, giving me his debit card number to charge it on this day, so he will have money on his account...
He managed to borrow more money last weekend assuring me that he will return it today for sure...
Only his phone got disconnected 2 days ago ((562)458 3690) and the debit card transaction didn't go through, got declined... (4833 1600 2395 6698 exp 2/16 CHASE VISA)
He owes me $345 or a little more and I feel played and robbed at this point...
I am sure I am not his first victim...
I don't want to go to the police or spend days filing for a small claims court...
I really hope somebody can stop him...
