To sum things up.....FRAUD. Ace Marketing Group LLC are a group of scammers and ripoff professionals. They called my home telephone number and gave me a big sales pitch about how everyone was making thousands by having their own "Amazon Store" online. I had heard about Amazon's affiliate business program and thought this was one and the same. It was not. I have since spoken to Amazon directly. So Ace Marketing told me that for $99 (through a surrogate company called Web Knowledge LLC) they would set up my storefront (or website) where people could buy products and I would earn commissions on all sales originating therefrom. This was on October 11, 2012. Then on October 18, 2012, (Ace Marketing Group LLC) called again and convinced me that I needed to buy their $1995 Standard "advertising package" and told me I could make THOUSANDS with their advertising help. I swallowed their garbage hook line and sinker. They even supplied me with a very cheesy "ad tracker" to make everything look so "legitimate" and so that I could monitor how my "campaign" was going. So I spent roughly $2100 for what they claimed was going to be a very hot item and because I was getting into business with them at the right time (just before the Christmas rush of 2012), I would make thousands due to the upcoming Christmas shopping season. They even promised that if I did not earn back 125% of my investment for their 6-month advertising campaign, they would be happy to run my campaign for another 6 months. They even included another affiliate marketing website (through another surrogate company Affiliate Business Group LLC) that they said would also earn thousands in commissions based on my recruiting others to come and take part in this big SCAM. They also told me that the program was on "autopilot" because of the great advertising that they would be performing on my behalf. They even took things a step further and told me that they would be assigning to me a personal "coach" to insure my success. A red flag should have gone up at that point, because if the program was on "autopilot" as they claimed, why in the world would I need a "personal coach". After about 21/2 months I called to express my concerns and after their "refund policy" period had ended (30 days), I saw that I had no sales to report and no hits to my website. So I called them to get answers and to request a refund. They blew me off and said that they would have my "personal coach" call me back and get things going in the right direction. I never got the call. I began to realize that they had simply put me off. The refund period had expired and I kept monitoring my sales campaign and still saw no results. So around the 1st of January, 2013 I called them again to express my dismay about having wasted my money and to request a refund. I even overheard laughter in the background as I spoke to a representative on the phone describing my results and my desire for a full refund. They told me they would have my "coach" call me and put me off again. So after 6 months I have received ZERO sales and ZERO hits to my website, and I never spoke to a "coach" once. When I called to cancel the program and ask for a refund, they blew me off. They continue to blow me off to this day. In fact, when I send them an e-mail requesting the refund, they simply reply with a message that reads as follows:

The person to whom I spoke directly when I made the purchase of the Amazon Storefront and the Affiliate Business Group websites was Chris Paul with the surrogate company Web Knowledge LLC. Every time I have called to speak with him I get a person who does not put me through to him, rather patronizes me with excuses and lies about things getting better. Basically they are shielding him.

The person to whom I spoke directly when I made the purchase of the Standard Advertising Package was Joe Davis with the main company Ace Marketing Group LLC. He was also allegedly assigned to be my "personal coach". Yet every time I call to speak with him, I get a voice mail message. Then when I select to speak to someone else (usually someone named Steve), he gives me the runaround just like before about things getting better. I did receive one call back (voice mail) from Joe Davis and in his message, he chided me saying that he was a very busy man and did not have time to waste on making unnecessary calls. Some "personal coach", huh?

So I refuse to call them again after many attempts to get either the person I was trying to reach, my questions answered, nor the refund that I requested. I'm tired of getting the runaround. And getting the runaround is very typical of a bogus commercial enterprise that is in the business of bilking innocent consumers.

Another odd thing I noticed after numerous attempts to contact them, is that they do not even have their own e-mail domains. The two e-mail addresses I have for them are:

[email protected] and
[email protected]

The fact that they do not even use their own e-mail domains should tell one quite about both the "legitimacy" and the overall quality of their scamming enterprise.

I believe they are one and the same organization with two different offices and phone lines.

And here is a link to a website where other "customers" (actually "victims" would be a better word) have expressed being scammed by these criminals, too:

http://www.dexknows.com/business_profiles/ace_marketing_group_llc-l900300630/reviews/

In the normal world of legitimate business, most credible businesses, when affronted by an unhappy customer would simply give the customer a refund and apologize for the customer not getting what he paid for. That is what separates a real, viable, legitimate business enterprise from an organization bent on ripping off innocent consumers with no intention whatsoever of ever giving a customer a refund. If a company cannot operate on that principle alone, and do the right thing when a customer is not happy with said product or service, then that company is simply not credible. And customers have no recourse except to contact someone like the FBI and/or a local Better Business Bureau for help in getting the refund that the customer deserves (or to take steps to actually have the illicit or criminal enterprise shut down).

This organization hides behind various pseudonyms or surrogate company names in order to confuse or confound defrauded customers hoping that the customer will simply give up and go away. The other tactic they use is when a customer calls to complain about not getting what they paid for, they claim that they "cannot" give refunds but will be willing to offer another 6 months of totally bogus advertising service.

I DID NOT receive what I paid for (according to the outlandish claims made by them when they made their first contact). I tried to give them more time to make good on their promises. I then expressed my dismay to them about the way I was being treated and asked for a FULL REFUND. I have received many lies and promises but have yet to get my refund. This is what I have requested from them on numerous occasions and I will accept nothing less from this fraudulent organization who have no intentions of delivering on their promises....and who couldn't care less about the customer complaints they receive!

Desired Settlement: Refund

Desired Outcome Description:

Since I have since read about others being ripped-off the same way and also having been fed a lot of bologna about the "guaranteed success" of this program, I would like a full refund of the $1995 they took from me under false pretenses and for the $99 they charged me through a surrogate company of theirs called "Web Knowledge LLC" I would like a refund back to the credit card I used for the purchases of the website(s) and of the "advertising package" they talked me into. These folks are crooks!!
