My client hosts with this company and emailed me telling me that they took it upon themselves to update her content management system. This is a big no and it is not their responsibility to do this anyway. Normally updating sites can brick the site and since they use scripts to do this because they lack the skills to do it any other way the potential for problems goes up higher. They update the site and it did more than brick the site it deleted the entire website as well as a survey tool she uses to collect data. This tool is worth huge amounts of money and my monetary damages here only cover the loss of data collected while we repaired it with a backup.

Their actions are totally unacceptable and all communication with them went nowhere since they deny doing anything wrong. I am reporting this to you simply to make the public aware that hosting your website with the wrong company can damage your reputation and your business.
