I placed an order for the D3200 Nikon camera on November 23, 2012 and received an email confirmation of the order. A few days later I was contacted by a guy from Daxmart to confirm my order. The pushy and rude salesman told me my camera didn't come with a charger or rechargeable battery and that I had to order it thru him or my camera wouldn't work when I got it. BTW, this camera mentioned that it came with battery and charger in the specs when I ordered it online. The prices they were trying to charge for these items were ridiculously high and I told him I would buy them on amazon.com for alot less. He got very annoyed with me and told me that my camera wasn't in stock, but if I wanted the same camera with the full kit I could spend $250 more and get it within he week. I said no thank you i'll stick with the camera that I ordered, so the man told me that I would receive my camera around Chrstimas time since it was on back order.
I called today 12/26/12 to confirm when my order would be shipped since its been over 30 days. Mind you, I also sent an email last week that was never answered. The first rep who answered my call said that they had no record of my order and that my order # was incorrect. The guy was extremely rude and rather than helping me solve the mystery of my order, he sent me to voicemail instead. And this is all after I had been waiting 22 minutes on hold to actually get a rep on the phone. I called right back and another guy answered the phone. I explained what happenend and gave him my order number. Miraculously he was able to find my order right away but told me it was on back order. When I asked a few more questions such as when they expected the order to arrive t the warehouse and when it would be shipped to me, the guy seemed to get annoyed and when I asked to speak with a manager he told me he was the manager and his name was Alan. Then he went on to say and I quote, "You want to play games then I will cancel your order."
I did not order this camera to play any games with this company or rep, I just simply want my camera with none of the headaches that apparently go along with ordering through Daxmart.com. I wish I read all the negative online reviews on Daxmart before ordering thru them.
I am appalled and annoyed and I still don't have the camera that I ordered over a month ago. So I sent them an email cancelling my order and now I'm happy to order it from a known site with good reviews and pay a little more than I originally did, just to not have to deal with these people again. I will never order anything again from Daxmart.com. This company is a joke!!!
