I got a call this a.m. from KBK Infotech and they told me that they are a MSFT service provider and that they were contacting me about a problem with my computer. I am a.) computer savvy b.) extremely skeptical and c.) scam-aware, but even so these guys are VERY convincing. I repeatedly asked them what they were trying to sell me, how they got my information etc. but they were quite professional - knew my name, phone number, and address, and started walking me through what seemed like very knowledgeable tech support. However once they got to the stage where they put a "Microsoft technician" on the line to talk to me, I demanded to know the name of the company and where it was based - one Google search brought me here and I hung up on them. Embarrassed that I even let them get that far.
