Person called to advise my computer was transmitting error messages due to viruses and said they were serving For Microsoft/ Windows customers, that I needed to protect my computer right away. Although, I was extremely hesitant and nervous, he was very convincing and I watched as a tech supposedly cleaned my computer and downloaded files. I paid $ 150 for lifetime protection and service for my 3 computers. The name of the company he said he was from has a website, I looked it up on my iPad while we spoke. MSC Information Solutions. I filed a dispute and closed my credit card immediately after.
