I was called by Matt Brown,from Cumberland, MD on 8/11/2011 stating he and his wife were interested in buying my timeshare. He asked if he could have the person he was working with on financing give me a call. I said yes. He said I would be hearing from a man named Ron London of Luxury Plus in Charleston, SC.

Ron London called me very soon after I talked to Matt Brown on 8/11/2011, and he needed to know the particulars of the property, and the asking price. Then he explained the purchase procedure and the closing cost, etc.

Matt Brown called me back on 8/12/2011 and agreed to the price, but said he could only pay half of the closing cost at this time, but he would add them on to his loan to reimburse me the $380.00.

The next day 8/13 I was sent a contract, and given instructions on how to get a Moneypak from Walmart,as the title search could not be ordered until the closing costs were paid. On Sunday 8/14 Ron London called to make sure I had received the contract and the Moneypak info. He then asked me if I could sign the contract and get the Moneypak that day and call him with the number(which I idiotically did),and FAX the signed contract to him.He called 8/15 to report the title had been ordered and there were just a couple more things to do.

I haven't heard from Ron London or Matt Brown since! I will be reporting this to MoneyPak and the police. Don't fill a Moneypak for anyone you don't know and love. This is a SCAM and these guys are SLICK SCUM.
