Scheduled my move from PA to NC and told I would need 17' truck space for my 1300 soft house with 8x10 shed 1/2 garage and 1/2 basement. Boy were they off!!!!!!!! I filled 28 ft truck plus still had 1800 # of material left. I had to be out of my house by 330pm. Only found out about running out of space around 1230pm. Called movebuilders and said they will get back to me in hour or so with estimate. She never called me back until 2 hrs later. Had to call Around for rental truck but could not find any. The movers that loaded me (Ryan) were wonderful. I would never use move builders ever. They could have got me the truck to move the remaining amount but would cost me over 2200.00 but did not get back timely. Ryan was able to move my stuff for 1700.00. Be wise look elsewhere there are cheaper prices. When I spoke with supervisor Jason at movebuilders all he could say is that they did everything right. How could you under estimate by almost 1/2 the size. Way off!!!! When I said I would never use him again they over $50 compensation. I wouldn't take it from them. Be wise and have someone come to your house for estimate. Movebuilders worse company around!!!!!
