Today someone from eprotectionz.com convinced my father to purchase a product from them called "EPZ - 3 Sessions Plan" for $69. My father is elderly and not very technical, not to mention on a fixed income with only Social Security to support himself. They convinced him he had problems with his computer and told him to download software without informing him what it was for. All along he had no idea what he was doing and was convinced this was to fix an existing problem with his computer, when in fact he did not have a problem. They used scare tactics and misinformation and did not get his permission to connect to his computer. They convinced him to pay $69 to fix the errors and remote controlled his computer making him think it was malfunctioning. I've written an email to them requesting a refund or I'll report them. We'll see what happens.
