Complaint 9917 Details

INCIDENT REPORT:
The company advertised a trial offer for HCG for $4.95 on an affiliated website http://www.purebiotixhcg.com?affiliateid=2916&cid=1124. I signed up for the trial and was subsequently charged 2 payments of $89.95 within a 1 month period without authorization. My order was first placed on approximately July 7, 2011 and the subsequent charges were taken out on July 21, 2011 and then again on August 7, 2011. The website did not have its terms and conditions posted for consumers; they are placed AFTER the “submit” button for order confirmation. PureBiotix contacted me 5 minutes after I placed my order and I questioned a double $4.95 charge, the male representative told me that I was only being charged $4.95 and DID NOT disclose an automatic renewal. I was not aware of the additional charges until I received my bank statement today, August 8, 2011. It is evident PureBiotix is fraudulently rushing charges through customer accounts under the guise of an “Automatic Renewal Contract”. I contacted the company, today, and was placed on hold for 30 minutes on 3 different occasions. I have written a complaint letter to PureBiotix which is attached.

I have reviewed your terms and conditions and have not found any payment required to file a complaint. Therefore, if there is any payment associated with the filing of this complaint, I would like to end my contractual obligation. If not, please proceed to notify ANYONE and EVERYONE about PureBioix!
