Allow me to introduce. DHgate in China is like an Ebay entity that sells items from a pool of sellers.
I bought an item from DHgate that sells Ipad.. At first I could not believe it since the price was so low compared to the real Ipad. I emailed the seller if this was authentic. The response was that the item as real Ipad. ( I have email messages as proof).

I then placed the order through Paypal and got the item back a few weeks later. when I opened the box, it looked nothing like an Ipad but some kind of cheap Knock off item that does not even function like the normal tablet.

I then emailed the seller and asked for refund. At first, he said he would offer refund of $20.00 and I didn't have to return the item. Then after I insisted, he finally agreed I will get the money back provided I returned the item. I returned the item through USPS with tracking number #: RE044952265US ( I still have receipt from USPS).

A few weeks later, I emailed the seller but never received a response. I even emailed to the administrator at DHgate. Still there was no response.

I filed complaint to Paypal but the feedback was not very helpful. Paypal asked me to file the complaint to USPS.

I then filed a complaint to USPS and filed for lost package. The package was deliberately refused, and I think it got lost after multiple delivery attempts.
At this point, there is still no positive outcome. The USPS said it could up to 90 days to finish the investigation. There is no guarantee that I could ever get one penny back. Though the amount is not big, I think it is necessary to alert people that DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from the internet that is non US verified entity.
Please kindly let me know...any suggestion or advice is much appreciated
