I went to Hotwire - their hotel booking showed $430 3 star room crossed out and said now $218. So I booked it. There is no cancellation or changes allowed. I then found out the hotel and called them. They said their regular rate was $218. I called Hotwire and they told me that the $430 was not the reduction of the room but some other measure.
I feel completly cheated by them. They charged me the standard rate for a room that they advertised was significantly discounted.
