International boundaries
We keep receiving phone calls from foreign, possibly Indian-speaking, people. They claim to be the "cancellation dept" of Local US Pages online. They will say that they received a request to cancel/remove our listing. They will ask for your contact info and then say that you will receive a bill for $649.95 in the mail for the last year's listing. When I said that we were not paying that bill (we are a church), and I realized it was a scam and hung up, they called back again. Lady said her name was Jennifer Smith. Pretty darn sure this is a scam.

- I just received the same kind of call. I asked for the web address so I could see the ad and "Bran Stevans" (Indian accent...) said he wasn't authorized to give that information! I was so angry at the end of the conversation that my co worker came down the hall and asked if he should shut my door!
