The same thing happened to me on January 13. I was doing some online schoolwork and all of a sudden I got all kinds of pop-ups and messages saying I had multiple viruses. I could not logon anywhere on the internet until I bought the Windows Security package they recommended. Today I got my credit card bill with the transaction on it. I went to the website it indicated, not knowing what it was for, and was directed here. I realized then it was for the package I had to buy in order to get my internet back. What a rotten scam! I tried everything to get this off my computer and nothing worked until I bought the package. Now I'm worried that it could happen again since I've never found out how it was downloaded in the first place. I'm not one to open emails or go to websites I'm not familiar with. And I can't afford $60 for a Scam!
