I found on eBay an advertisment about Snap On Verus Diagnostic Computer from a private seller for $ 2,500.00. The seller didn't want to go on auction and he offered his computer for this price. I agreed to by it. I received from eBay's Security & Resolution Center an invoice with the instruction how to pay for the item. The invoice was also telling me that the seller has a $ 5,000.00 deposit in an eBay managed purchase protection account. Transactions with this eBay seller (Alex Shood) supposed to be covered by purchase protection against fraud and description errors.
I sent the payment via MoneyPak from Walmart. Within three business days I was supposed to receive a tricking number from the seller. He never sent me the item and stopped responding to my e-mails. I sent e-mail to eBay with no response either.
