So Experian signs me up for a free trial for one week. I cancel it immediately. Yet in May I am charged $49.12 ( in one month!!). Therafter they charge me $16.00 for 5 months. Following that they charge me $19.21 for the next 4 months. All, supposedly for a service that I never signed up for, and that is not supposed to cost more than $15 a month. Oh, also all of these transactions are made under different names, which include but are not limited to infofcr, Experian, infoexd, creditrep, freecredr, info.freecreditreport etc. making it difficult to track them down.

So in other words, if you are not constantly on top of your account checking each and every line item vigilantly, Experian will screw you over if they happen to have your information through the "free credit service". After finally figuring out that all of these charges were from the same company, and for an account for which I had declined to sign up for, I call them. They not only refuse to refund the whole amount, the say 1) they have FINALLY cancelled my account today 2) they will refund a token amount of $96.05 which MIGHT NOT HAPPEN until about two weeks (if at all), and for which THEY WILL NOT SEND A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL 3) the only way you can get the rest of your money back is to FAX or MAIL their Corporate Office where they MAY/MAY NOT answer you by e-mail/phone.
