I was looking for rent to own homes and came across this website for Silver State Homes. I left a voicemail message and Linda called me back, she told me she could help me get into the home of my choice. So I went and looked at homes called her back and she said her investors approved me for $175k for the home. She gave me the deposit amount I needed and I sent her multiple Green Dot Cards in the amount of $500 each. She sent me an approval letter to show to the realtor and all the paperwork was started. I put up my earnest money of $500 but when it got closer to my closing date then Linda disappeared, I would leave multiple messages and sent faxes and email. I let her know because things seem to have been going well and I saw no reason at the time to doubt her, I packed up my current home, informed my landlord and stop paying rent so I could have all the money for Linda and I even paid for the inspection of the house.

Linda then calls me at the end of March and tells me she did not know I had stopped paying rent and she could not be responsible for me being without a home so she could no longer work with me and would return my money. That was the end of March...after mulitple phone calls and emails, as of today I still have not received my refund. I have gotten excuse after excuse.

I know I want see my money, but Linda needs to be imprisoned.
