I filled out a form looking to get financing for my first home purchase back in June. I received a call from Linda telling me that I was approved for a "hard-money" loan...my credit isn't the greatest, so I thought this was great. We went back and forth, cause I had some questions, and then I decided to move forward. I gave her $4500 via 5 reddot cards from Walmart. She said that was what was needed to secure my financing and she had been burned in the past. Once paid in full, I could get a hold of Linda less and less. And now that the buyers bank needs info from Linda and she's unreachable. Her business line has been disconnected and she's not replying to my emails. I'm moving forward with legal action against Linda and Silver State Homes. Don't use this service, it's a scam!

- I had the EXACT same experience with Linda down to every last detail. She told me on 8/25/2011 that my refund would be processed since they were not able to get me a hard money loan.

- I have not received my refund. Please let me know details of your legal action. If we can go in together on it I think it would be a stronger case.

She said that was what was needed to secure my financing and she had been burned in the past. I could not continue with the program so I requested my money back in July. PerLinda she said it would be refunded and now she's unreachable. Her business line has been disconnected and she's not replying to my emails. I have not received my refund. Please let me know details of your legal action and where can I to go from here. People like her (Linda) really need to be stopped before someone elses dreams of home ownership have been shattered. I know it was such a small down payment but its the principle behind the matter.....
