We went to a presentation in Grand Miramar in Puerto Vallarta Mex. We were told that they would buy our timeshares for 52,000 thousand dollars and we would get four weeks of their place or trade for eight weeks at World Destinations with no trading fees. Also, they would give us 4,200 in ninety days if we gave up the pent house use. We should receive that Feb. 18. I am sure that will not happen!!!!!!!
Also, they said we should not pay our timeshare dues, that they would take them over in 28 days. That has not happened and we paid all the dues, so we would not have bad credit. Now we looked up on the internet Grand Miramar scams and it goes on for pages and pages of people scammed. They never got any of the money they said and they did not buy their timeshares. They just use the "timeshare" sales pitch to get you to buy their fractional ownership. The whole deal is looking more suspecious every day. Their is nothing we can do. I guess the American Express credit card that people used didn't work to dispute. We are trying that today to dispute the two credit cards we used. It does't look good. We are retired and 29,000 thousand dollars is a hardship for us at our age. We would not have bought if we had not thought we were getting money for our timeshares. We love our timeshares that we have and they have been good to us. It is just the 29,000 thousand dollars for the new place with the scam artist. It looks like now that their place with World Destinations won't trade for eight week either with no trading fees. They just lied and lied. Our sales person was an English man named Richard Bound. He said he is good at what he does. What? Lie? A second right hand man was Victor who told us he sang in a band ..we checked that out and he was not there. Funny!
